Client Policy

This summary does not replace the signed/attached handbook. If there is any conflict, the PDF handbook governs.

Warranty

30 Days, Parts Only

  • Warranty applies to replacement parts supplied by CMTR for 30 days from date of service.

  • No warranty on labor (labor is billed for time spent).

  • Misuse, physical/liquid damage, viruses/malware, or third‑party modifications void coverage.

Privacy & Data Handling

  • Access is limited to data strictly required to complete service.

  • Passwords are stored in a secure vault and purged when no longer needed.

  • Drives designated for wipe are securely erased or returned per written instruction.

Returns

7 Day 

  • Unopened/unused parts may be returned within 7 days; a restocking fee may apply if charged by the supplier.

  • Special‑order parts and all labor/diagnostics are non‑refundable.

Thoughts

Authorization & Consent

By scheduling service, accepting an estimate, or paying an invoice, you authorize CMTR to perform the requested work and agree to these policies. Separate consent forms may be required for data recovery or liquid damage.

Liability, Data & Backups

  • Client is responsible for maintaining current backups unless CMTR is engaged to perform a backup.

  • CMTR is not responsible for data loss, corruption, or pre‑existing issues, including liquid or incidental damage.

  • Devices may be powered on, opened, and tested as part of service; this may affect OEM warranty stickers.
